Minimized Wrinkles. Supple Skin.

Smooth Your Skin. Reduce Wrinkles.

When your skin looks it’s best, you feel empowered. You feel confident. You can take on the world.

But when your skin tone is uneven, or has several blemishes, you can suddenly feel less powerful. You want to withdraw, and stay in your shell until your face is feeling your best.

Medical peels can help break you out of your shell.

These procedures use a chemical solution gently applied to any part of your skin in order to improve the skin’s appearance by:

  • Reducing or eliminating fine lines under the eyes and around the mouth
  • Correcting uneven skin pigmentation
  • Treating acne
  • Softening the appearance of scars caused by acne
  • Minimizing stretch marks
  • Reducing wrinkles caused by sun damage

If you want to take advantage of a medical peel, arrange for a consultation today. We will let you know the best options available to you.

Our Medical Peels

  • PCA Peel (with Hydroquinone) A 45-minute peel that will lighten and strengthen your skin with minimal surface stimulation.
  • PCA Peel (without Hydroquinone) A 45-minute peel that will lighten and strengthen your skin. Since this peel is hydroquinone free, it is better for those with sensitive skin and allergies.
  • PCA Peel with Hydroquinone and Resourcinol A 45-minute peel that combines the lightening and brightening power of hydroquinone, kojic and lactic acid to leave the skin smooth and clear.
  • Pigment Balancing Peel A 45-minute peel that improves sundamaged skin, reduces melasma, and acne-related discoloration.
  • Sensi Peel A 45-minute peel that strengthens, hydrates and smooths skin while minimizing hyperpigmentation.
  • Ultrapeel I A blend of TCA and lactic acid with the addition of phytohormones for plumping and hydration.

Can Chemical Peels Help With Acne?

Chemical peels can be great treatments for acne scarring. For example, a pigment balancing peel can help clear acne discolorations and TCA may help to lighten any hyperpigmentation due to scarring.

Multiple peels may be needed and not all peels are suitable for all skin types.

A consultation with our aesthetician is the only way to know which peel is best for your exact skin, and your exact goals.

What Is the Recovery Time From a Medical Peel?

The recovery time will depend on your exact situation, and the peel that you ultimately use.

Some peels go deeper than others.  A light peel will normally not have much recovery time – a day or less.  A light peel will not be as effective as a deeper peel, though.  Deeper peels can have a recovery time of 2-3 days, or several weeks, depending on a variety of factors.

In most cases, you will know the amount of recovery time that you need before going through the peel, so that you can plan accordingly.  The exact amount of time you will need for recovery will be covered in detail on your consultation.

Are There Any Side Effects To Medical Peels?

There are some potential side effects to peels.  The type and intensity of your side effects is related to the depth of the peel itself.  These side effects may include:

  • Redness
  • Dryness
  • Flakiness
  • Irritation
  • Hypersensitivity
  • Itchiness
  • Swelling (especially with deeper peels)
  • Infection

Not everyone is prone to these side effects, and the side effects that may affect you will be addressed on your free consultation.
